What is the colour of the wind?

What is the colour of the wind? How on sweet earth should I know what the colour of the wind is? I’m not a poet or a scientist and I’m not going to wreck my brain trying to come up with poetic ways or rhymes about the colour of the wind.

The only thing that comes to mind when being asked what the colour of the wind is is literal. I look outside and I see the wind moving the trees, ruining people’s hair, lifting skirts up and pushing people back and forth. But the COLOUR on the other hand….. I’m sure some clever scientist or poet will come up with the perfect answer to that question.

When I think really hard about the colour of the wind, a tornado comes to mind, even though I don’t recall us having one here in SA. So to me, the colour of the wind is GRAY! Aggressive, dangerous, deadly and scary.
